Roots and Wings: a Celebration of Harvest and Generosity

An Intergenerational Service

In this season of harvest and gratitude, we invite everyone to join in a “harvest communion” – bring something edible to give away that represents the harvest season to you – it could be a squash or pumpkin, or something cooked like corn muffins, something canned or something fresh. As with our spring “Flower Communion,” our Harvest Communion will be a bringing of one thing and a taking of another, representing the diversity and generosity of our community. All leftovers will be given to Open Table or a Food Pantry. This service will also include a presentation from our Stewardship Committee as we launch this year’s Roots and Wings pledge drive, where we call on the generosity of our community to sustain us through the year to come.

Join us after the service for our annual "Hanging of the Greens" as we decorate the church for the holiday season!

Our buildings are now mask-optional. We have designated a mask-required section of our sanctuary. It is marked off and in the back right corner. Please consult with an usher if assistance is needed.
