Come learn about sex trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of women in our area on Sunday, November 2nd at 3 pm in an educational forum sponsored by The First Parish Church of Stow and Acton and RIA House, Inc. Forum speakers will include Kim McLarin, from Channel 2 WGBH’s “Basic Black” and Assistant Professor at Emerson College; State Representative Kate Hogan from the Third Middlesex District (a leader who has brought forth and succeeded in getting legislation passed to fight human trafficking); and Heather Wightman, the Founder and Managing Director of RIA House, Inc. Come and enjoy High Tea with us, get informed, and learn what you can do to make a difference in the lives of the women who are surviving “modern day slavery.”
