Our membership is growing, and our old photo directory is woefully out of date. But not for long! The Membership Committee has scheduled 4 days in May and June for our members and friends to be photographed by Lifetouch. If all goes as planned, we'll be handing out photo directories at our Ingathering Service next September. This is exciting news! And better yet, it's at no cost to you or the church.

Lifetouch does lovely portraiture, in a wide variety of styles. The most important thing we ask is that EVERYONE is willing to be photographed. You will receive a free 8x10 photo as well as a free directory just for participating. You are under no obligation whatsoever to purchase additional photos. However, if you would like to consider purchasing additional photography, there will be price sheets available at the Resource Table on Sundays.

Photo sessions are scheduled for:

Friday, May 25 from 2:30-9:00 (Filled)
Saturday, May 26 from 10:00-5:00 (Filled)
Tuesday, June 12 from 2:30-9:00
Wednesday, June 13 from 2:30-9:00
Thursday, June 14 from 2:30-9:00
Friday, June 15 from 2:30-9:00

All photography sessions will be in the Vestry area. The first two dates are Memorial Day weekend. If you know that you're going to be in town that weekend then please consider signing up on either of those dates, leaving the June dates available for those who may be out of town Memorial Day weekend.

A photo directory is most helpful to all of us when it contains photos of ALL the members and friends of our community, both new and old. We ask that you be willing to schedule a session. You can choose what style of photography you prefer. Casual, with pets, showing a hobby, or a child with a musical instrument— the possibilities are wide open. All photography will be done with a black background. You can choose to have your final photos in color, black and white or sepia. Stop by the Resource Table at coffee hour to see some samples.

In addition, we will have access to a private online photo directory. We will be able to add photos of new members on an ongoing basis.

The best way to sign up is online. By signing up online and providing your email you receive a $10 coupon good towards the purchase of any photography. In addition, Lifetouch offers a 20% discount to seniors and those in the military. Lastly, if you pick up a Food Donation bag at the Resource Table, and bring it to your photo session filled with dry goods for the Stow Food Pantry, you receive an additional $5 off.
