The FPC Spring Auction ~ Roaring Twenties ~ Now online for your shopping pleasure

FPC’s on-line Spring Auction celebrating the Roaring ‘20s is here! While we can’t gather together for our usual riotous good time, we have found a way to make this year’s auction the bee’s knees!

Porch Party Mamas

Inspired by playing and singing each others songs at their own "porch parties", these established Boston area musicians and singer/songwriters decided to combine their individual talents and create their own brand of Urban Folk, Country and Blues. They took their act on the road and "Porch Party Mamas" was born.

Swing Cafe

Swing Cafe is an acoustic swing, jazz, and rockabilly band that plays around New England at parties, clubs and concerts. The band combines lead and harmony vocals, archtop guitar, mandolin, bass and drums.

Christmas Eve Services, 4 & 9 PM

Join us for our Christmas Eve services on Tuesday, December 24th. All are welcome! We are located in the heart of Stow at 353 Great Road. An Evening of Caroling

Sunday, December 15th, 2019 - 4:00PM to 6:30PM
This year, instead of our usual Christmas Vespers, we're having a special evening of caroling with the FPC Choir and our music director, Mike Pfitzer. We'll begin at the church at 4 PM and sing for a while, beginning with a couple of selections from our choir, then head out to bring music to some places in the community, and return back to Fellowship Hall around 5:45 for refreshments and a few final songs, finishing around 6:30. The Rough & Tumble

The Rough & Tumble are as easy to detect as a stray dog on your doorstep-- and as difficult to send home.  The dumpster-folk, thriftstore-Americana duo, consisting of Mallory Graham & Scott Tyler, have been hobbling around the country in their 16 camper since 2015, when their Nashville landlord left them without heat during an ice storm for 12 days.  Then she tried to hike the rent.  Enough was enough, and The Rough & Tumble gave their 30 days notice at their jobs and their lease, sold most of what they owned, and hopped into... Benefit Concert for Rev. Ilene Tompkins-Gillispie

The Friends of Ilene Tompkins-Gillispie will host a benefit concert for her on Saturday, September 14th at FPC. Ilene, a previous intern minister at FPC, has been diagnosed with a chronic tissue disease (EDS) and also recently underwent brain surgery. Due to her illnesses she had to leave her position as a UU minister in Brevard, N.C. and this event has been organized to help with her expenses. Hosting the concert will be singer Jim Scott. Make a Difference Day

Here at First Parish Church we really care about making a difference in the world and are hosting our very first “Make a Difference Day.” We invite the community—people of all ages to participate in fun projects that will help those in need and help to transform our world! FPC Guest Table serves a community dinner on the first Friday of each month at First Parish Church of Stow & Acton. We welcome everyone from Stow, and surrounding towns, who are looking for a sense of community, or just want a change of atmosphere.

The next meal will be offered on Friday, July 5, from 5:30-6:30 PM. There is no charge for dinner, but donations are gratefully accepted.
