Halfway between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox lies Imbolc, or (Saint) Brigid's Day and Candlemas. It celebrates an end to Winter and the returning of Spring. It was also a time for weather divination, which is something we celebrate in American culture as Groundhog's Day.
